| Eligibility | Available to residents of Muskoka District who have a modest income and a simple tax situation.
Family size is calculated as a single adult or couple and their dependent children under 18 years.
Community organizations can adjust the total family income for their clients based on the local economic environment, the population they serve, and their resources.
Suggested maximum income levels should serve as a guideline only:
Family size and total family income: 1 person $40,000 2 persons $55,000 3 persons $60,000 4 persons $65,000 5 persons $70,000 More than 5 persons $70,000 plus $5,000 for each additional person Volunteers do not prepare tax returns for complex situations such as: Eligible taxpayers normally served by the CVITP include: |
