Description (Service) Hears appeals on decisions affecting eligibility or amount of social assistance under Ontario Works and Ontario Disability Support Programs
  • also hears appeals on assistance being cancelled, reduced or put on hold
  • operates independently from the Ministry of Community and Social Services, under the auspices of Tribunals Ontario

Application Request an internal review from the Ontario Disability Support Program or Ontario Works office that made the original decision
  • submit SBT Appeal Form within 30 days of receiving the internal review decision
