Description

Description (Service) Provides education and support services for people living with multiple sclerosis and their families, professionals and the community.

Services include:
  • 1:1 Peer Support: Extended and One Call programs - A telephone and internet-based program for individuals living with MS and for loved ones of people with MS. Volunteers from across Canada are provided with training to ensure they have the skills to best support you.
  • MS Support groups - A complete list of in-person and virtual support groups is available on the website. To learn more and join, contact the MS Knowledge Network:1-844-859-6789 msnavigators@mscanada.ca
  • Other programs offered include We Talk MS, and Educational Webinars.
  • Quality of Life Equipment Program: Designed to provide financial assistance to those requiring support with the purchase of mobility equipment and safety devices.
  • CPP-D Application Support (CAS) : Helps individuals with MS who are applying for the Canada Pension Plan Disability benefit (CPP-D) successfully receive their benefits.
