Description
Description (Service) | Free preventive dental care and/or emergency dental treatment for children in need who are 17 and under who meet the eligibility requirements. Services can include extractions, fillings, sedation, fluoride, scaling, dental health information and more. Braces are not covered by this program. Programs include preventive services, restorative services with a dentist once a month. |

Children or youth 17 years of age or under in need of dental services and are;
Children in household are automatically enrolled in the program if you or your child receives benefits through, Ontario Works, Temporary Care Assistance, Ontario Disability Support Program, Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities For income eligibility and other criteria visit www.ontario.ca/healthysmiles or for further details, see Healthy Smiles Ontario Client Guide 17 year(s) and under. |
Application | Can apply online, by mail or you can pick up an application form and obtain completion assistance if required from your local public health unit or at a ServiceOntario location. Once your child's enrollment is confirmed, you will get a Healthy Smiles Ontario dental card in the mail.
