Description

Description (Service) Charity wing of the Catholic Church operated by volunteers. Provides support, information and resources to individuals and families in need.

Services include:
  • Emergency food assistance
  • Christmas hampers - St Vincent de Paul and the Salvation Army prepare Christmas hampers and cross reference to avoid duplication
  • Camp Sponsorship programs
NOT able to help with housing issues

Service Details

Hours Food assistance: second and fourth Thu of each month, pickup 1 pm-1:30 pm
Christmas hamper:
Register from mid Oct until approximately the first weekend of Dec
Pickup day and time will be given at registration.
Areas Served Chesley ; Hanover ; West Grey
Eligibility No restrictions

Residency Requirements: Must live within 18 kilometer radius of Hanover
Individuals should contact Christmas Hamper program closest to where they live.
Application Food assistance and Christmas Hampers: call and leave message requesting assistance.
