Description

Description (Service) Training and service organization provides First Aid and CPR Training. Public and industry training that meets WSIB workplace standards. Associate branch location in Owen Sound

Courses available:
  • Standard First Aid
  • Emergency First Aid
  • CPR - A, C, HCP/BLS
  • AED
  • Medical First Responder
  • Wilderness First Aid
  • Pet First Aid
  • Mental Health and Wellness in the Work Place
  • New Parent workshop
Blended learning and virtual training offered.

Courses designed for youth include:
  • Babysitter
  • Home alone
  • Lifesaver
Other services include:
  • regular public classes - see website for schedule. Private classes can be arranged for groups of 12 or more.
  • volunteer medical first responder services - provides first aid services at large scale community events on a donation basis.
  • First Aid Products - First aid kits, AEDs and first aid supplies
  • member of municipal emergency disaster plans
Therapy Dog program - volunteers and their dogs visit various community locations such as long term care facilities, retirement homes, elementary schools, hospitals, day away programs and libraries to provide comfort, stress relief, relaxation and to help lower blood pressure. Also offers Paws 4 Reading program in elementary schools. Contact office for eligibility and other details.
