Description (Service)

Offers a donation program for residents of Bruce County to contribute an unwrapped gift for a child aged 0 to 12 years of age.

This program provides gifts for families already being served by the Human Services Department.

Service Details

Hours Sponsorship items are to be dropped off on or before the week of Dec 5, 2025.
Other gift and toy donations can be dropped off on or before Dec 9, 2025.
Family gifts will be ready for pick up at the selected Human Services Office the week of Dec 15, 2025.

Eligibility No restrictions.
Application Contribute to the program by:
  • An unwrapped gift suitable for a child aged 0-12 years of age that can be delivered to any Human Services location near you:
    • Walkerton - 30 Park Street, Walkerton
    • Kincardine - 529 Gary Street, Kincardine
    • Port Elgin - 1243 MacKenzie Road, Port Elgin
    • Wiarton - 268 Berford Street, Wiarton
  • You can sponsor a family (staff will provide gender and ages of family members)
  • A monetary donation: any amount $20 or greater is eligible for a tax receipt.
To be eligible for a tax receipt, the following information is required: Full name, including middle initial, and full address including street number, street name, apartment, suite, or lot and concession number, city, province, and postal code of the donor.
