Description

Description (Service) Assists children from ages 7-18 and their families through referrals, support and programs. Helps children to develop skills, provide opportunities and obtain optimal physical, social, emotional and spiritual development for a healthy family and community environment.

Program also provides:
  • development of mental health programs for school age children
  • weekly school visits on and off the reserve
  • in-home visits
  • advocacy and referrals
  • networking and collaboration within the Nawash community and with community agencies both on and off reserve
  • one-on-one support for youth and their families

Eligibility Chippewas of Nawash residents and band membership
